My that is a humbling compliment, thank you very much. I owe a lot of that to my time working in a family run commercial dark room, the man who ran it had an incredible eye for printing and demanded very high standards from every print whether the customer was a casual photographer or seasoned professional. I daren’t think how much paper I wasted at the start trying to get the dodging and burning just right to pass muster but the principals he instilled have never left me. I wish I’d stuck at it longer and learned all the colour process too but at the time I just couldn’t face a third summer in the dark room!
You have a wonderful eye for composition and masterful control of b&w tonality!
